Michael is the author of sixteen published books - among which are the popular Quantum Prophecy series of young adult superhero novels - as well as dozens of short stories, articles and comic strips. The intruder was tall - six foot five, Cotterhill guessed - and undeniably female. She was wearing a form-fitting black-and-silver armour that bristled with short spikes and sharp edges. Her left hand clutched the hilt of a wide-bladed black sword.
The woman's face was oddly beautiful: she had full lips, amber pupil-less eyes, high cheekbones and what Cotterhill first took to be very heavy monochrome make-up, but later noticed was actually the colour of her skin. |
